Hi Greg,
Thank you for your quick reply to Mr. Caputo. I appreciate that you all are working on the permanent repairs and that you feel the funding looks promising. That really is good news!
I'd like to bring to your attention, though, that because the promised temporary patching never came to fruition, the drive on Prickett's Creek road continues to be dangerous and teeth jarring. Vehicles are STILL skirting potholes EVERY DAY, scraping the bottom EVERY DAY and Emergency vehicles are STILL slowed, endangering the lives of the residents here that "don't justify the cost of the repairs".
It is an absolute shame that the road has been let to go this long, that the resident's have been brushed aside and basically told, in as many words, that they are not worth the trouble or expense of even a temporary patch.
Every single one of you that make decisions on road repairs should be required to travel Prickett's Creek EVERY DAY to and from work in its present condition. If it was your commute, your car and your road, surely it would have been patched if not completely repaired MONTHS ago as it should have been.
I've offered before and I will offer again- if the DOH can supply us with the gravel for the temporary patching, I will bring it in my own personal work truck and spread it where it needs to be with my own two hands and my own shovels and rakes to make the road passable until you all can get here with the actual road repair. Or would you prefer we purchase the gravel and bill the state?
I am offering free labor and a fix RIGHT NOW. Any bureaucratic "protocols" that you allow to get in the way is just simply an abuse of privilege.

Greg,
I received a call from the folks re: Pricketts Creek Rd. & Tunnel Hollow Rd. Is there any news to report? This road is really getting worse Greg we need to find a way to get this done ASAP.
Also, can we get some temporary relief out there for now? Maybe at least gravel the holes ?
Please let me know. I know your guy's are very busy and working hard but we really need to get out there for these folks.
Thanks,
Mike, Tim & Linda
